‘Design a Jumper’ Schools’ Christmas Competition

Blog by Optima

We all love a good old festive jumper here at Optima and we thought this would a fantastic theme for our annual Schools' Christmas Competition.

This is the eighth consecutive year that Optima have sponsored the Christmas tree at The Collection museum and a total of 5 schools accepted our invitation to take part and decorate our blank jumper templates.

The schools involved were Manor Leas Infant School, South Hykeham Primary School, Monks Abbey Primary School, Woodlands Infant School and Burton Hathow Preparatory School. Over 200 colourful and creative designs were submitted!

The judging took place at The Collection on Thursday 5th December and the designs were all of a very high standard.

The eventual winner of the competition was Poppy Wraith with Macy Gunn and Tessa Denton being worthy runners up.

Poppy will receive a prize for her fantastic design with an article on the competition to appear in the Lincolnshire Echo.

You will see all the designs on display at The Collection over the festive period with the winning design sitting proud at the very top.

On behalf of everyone at The Collection and all the team at Optima Graphic Design, we would like to thank all the pupils that took part; the designs were all fantastic.
