Optima were asked to provide a global conflict database website for the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. The project aims ultimately to report on disputed territory in the world, considering the legal aspects that apply as well as the extent to which they are respected by the relevant regions.
With an extensive amount of content to present we needed to think of a user friendly and accessible way of displaying it. Using a Google map interface and accordions we could manage large amounts of content easily. Using a clear, bold typography and strong colours we could also convey the seriousness of the content.
